FPDL is a Romanian Non Governmental Organization since 1994.
FPDL Mission
- To enhance the democratic processes of governance and support the local development
- To strengthen the civil society
- To promote a new culture of change and conflict management
in Romania and Worldwide, through Capacity Building activities targeting Public Administration and NGOs representatives in order to be more effective, efficient and accountable, as well as to work better together.

FPDL is member since 1998 of Partners For Democratic Change International an Alliance initiated by Partners for Democratic Change - USA having as members 20 independent organizations from 20 countries and 4 continents.
FPDL is member since 2000 of AMCHAM - American Chamber of Commerce Romania
FPDL has received since 2004 the consultative status with ECOSOC (UN Economic and Social Council)
FPDL is founding member of FOND - the Romanian Federation of NGOs active in International Development.
